Update 00:43 27/07/2025: Deanna Huffman uploaded a new video to her YouTube account featuring a phone call with her husband, reportedly recorded on July 25. The couple condemned the fake news and “the hatred,” with Derek Huffman stating that he is “fighting for what he believes is right.” Derek Huffman enlisted in the Russian military to fast-track citizenship for himself and his family.

Update 15:01 24/07/2025: The wife of Derek Huffman, Deanna Huffman, has denied that her husband has been killed in action and claims to have also spoken with him. Another source that is unrelated to us, had also received the same information. We have also requested copies of the footage and imagery of the incident. Her denial is published below.
Separately, journalist Natalia Antonova, confirmed that the couple had declared bankruptcy before they fled the US.
Derek Huffman, the US citizen from Texas, has been confirmed killed on the Ukrainian front lines by a drone strike. Footage of his death is available and is being circulated online. Derek Huffman fled to Russia with his wife to escape what they described “Joe Biden’s LGBT indoctrination”. They also took with them their three young daughters aged between 10 and 13 years old.
After arriving in Russia, Derek Huffman decided to join the Russian Army in order to gain fast-tracked citizenship for him and his family. He was promised a non-combat role as a welder, but was sent to the frontlines after two weeks of training.
His wife, Deanna Huffman, received a bag of potatoes at her home outside Moscow soon after her husband was killed in action. She was not informed that her husband was killed.
The reason why Derek Huffman fled the US with his family may be different from the official reasons he provided. Court cases online show that Derek Huffman from Texas was being chased by bankruptcy Court but we could not confirm if he is the same person.
His wife and three kids are now living by themselves in a small village outside Moscow.
