I know what the Minister of Justice, Jonathan Attard, and all the merry Labour men and women who are pushing their totalitarian press reform, think of the press. The minority of journalists who have remained silent on Labour’s press reform are behaving like naive children who are oblivious of the fact that the strange men who offered them, sweets, have actually abducted them.

On the day that Daphne Caruana Galizia was murdered, on the 16th October of 2017, Labour activists who today occupy very high positions in the cabinet and in Robert Abela’s Office were chanting joyfully

“U Daphne kapuljat,
Hallelujah,
U Daphne kupuljat,
Hallelujah”
Viva l-Labour,
Viva l-Labour
Hey, hey.”

They then proceeded to a nearby bar and got drunk.

The minority of journalists who are going along with this press reform are like sheep being led to the slaughterhouse.
