   Unfortunately the creation of wealth is for the benefit of the likes of Kurt Farrugia, Carmen Ciantar, Pierre Fenech, Edwina Licara, Lionell Gerada, Charlon Gouder, James Piscopo, Gavin Gulia, Deborah Schembri, Robert Musumeci, Joseph Portelli, Michael Stivala, Bonnici Bros, Schembri Bros, Polidano Bros and the list of cronies and the anoited grows endless. Meanwhile the rest of the populace have to bear the constant fuck ups and ineffciencies by Ministries, public entities and institutions stuffed to the brim with nincompoops. To add insult to injury as the labour simpltons drool and get their knickers in a twist these same entities and institutions are bending over to accomodate the whims and fancies of the cabal that have highjacked the Labour party and Castille. Moreover our taxes are being used to make up for the glaring fuck-ups and shady deals carried out by our politicians and their lackeys.

   “Land reclamation” – a big word for a lot of those present listening to the one who comes across as having been sheltered his entire existence without ever being thrown at the harsh end of life. Lets give them something to scratch their heads on rather than have them “worry” on the nauseatic claims emanating from this blog and other media. It’s not just a distraction though. Rest assured this land reclamation idea is part of Labour’s usual problem reaction solution tactic. Wait for party exponents to drum up why we need reclamation without mentioning the backhander deal or deals agreed on with shady fat cats. This country needs a reset. Many open minded persons don’t trust the NP until it decouples from it’s Catholic/religious ties. The other parties are a drop in the ocean. The only way is for all opposing parties to join forces. There’s no other way if these political parties have Malta truly at heart. Everyone pulling the same rope to topple the evil cabal.

      The Nationalist Party has not been inspiring for some years, but to dismiss it with a tag of ‘Catholic/religious ties’ is to buy into Labour’s propaganda, which uses ?progressive values? to hide its illiberal attitude and to discombobulate the opposition (successfully, I must say). Divorce, gay marriage and cannabis legislation are all established law now, and there is no going back, so which political issue do you think the Nationalist Party cannot handle because of its perceived allegiance to the Catholic Church?

      If it is abortion, you may want to have a word with the Labour Party members of parliament representing your district, because the Labour Party is also not promising to introduce abortion anytime soon (the prime minister himself will tell you that the abortion legislation being discussed now is only a formalisation of current medical practice, i.e., abortion being a by-product of saving a woman?s life, and does not extend any new rights to pregnant women).

      Instead of judging people on their family choices, Pope Francis has emphasised safeguarding the environment, distributing wealth more evenly, welcoming refugees humanely and, in a now famous speech given in Malta, to fight corruption. Separating church and state is important in a democratic, pluralistic society, but these are values which parties of all stripes should embrace. If the Nationalist Party can make the Maltese state relatively decent and clean again (Eddie Fenech Adami, Lawrence Gonzi and Simon Busuttil were accused of many things, but never of being indecent and leading a Mafia), then it will be doing Malta a great service, even if its inspiration comes from the leader of the Catholic Church.

   Both the Nationalist and Labour Party are experiencing a hemorrhage of disillusioned supporters. Obviously the PN have suffered the biggest losses as many of those disillusioned nationalists found refuge in the Labour Party’s movement. Obviously only the select few of these nationalist turncoats managed to pig themselves at the trough so the rest who have never really favored Labour are retreating. They no longer find Labour attractive particularly with Robert Abela as Prime Minister and his kindergarden cabinet. So they will either not vote or else go back to the folds of the PN even though the PN is still in tatters. Meanwhile if disillusioned labourites opt not to vote and Nationalist opt to return to the fold than the next general election is going to be a hot one. Probably Labour will still win but by a minor difference.
   The upcoming European MP elections will be an indication of how things are evolving. Shades of things to come.

   Ostensibly embracing the European Union, divorce and gay marriage, and changing the party?s logo, was all theatre. When under pressure, the Malta Labour Party reverts to throwing its weight around and recycling the slogans it had over forty years ago: ?Min m?g?andux x?jag?mel jikteb ktieb.? (Dom Mintoff in parliament, sometime in the late 1970s, I believe).

   So much for progressive politics. Daphne Caruana Galizia warned you that you are all being duped with pink washing while having your fundamental rights to free expression and earning an honest living eaten away, but you got excited with cannabis legislation, the gender-balancing mechanism (which complements male ?yes, minister? members of parliament with even more docile?because they are unelected and so do not represent a constituency?female ones) and getting a permit to build two more floors on your house (that, too, is progressive, I suppose).

   Robert Abela?s broadside against authors and journalists (whom he avoids interviews with) is only the latest in several denigrations aimed at anyone who displays a principled and unshakeable firmament that happens not to align with what the Labour party happens to be selling on any particular day.

   The list of people belittled by the Labour Party machine is long and growing longer quickly, as voters catch on to being robbed and pressure mounts on the prime minister: Daphne Caruana Galizia, Occupy Justice, Repubblika, Manuel Delia, environmental groups, Conrad Borg Manch? (the G?ira mayor trying to save its public garden), the owner of this blog, and others. The Malta Labour Party wants you to sit there, content with your increasingly fat and lazy self. Why should you complain when you can divorce your wife, marry someone of the same sex, get stoned out of your mind and receive unsolicited cheques in the mail when an election comes around?

   To be clear, divorce, gay marriage and cannabis reform have all been the necessary and morally correct thing to do. It is the systematic use of ?progressive? issues (while letting African immigrants drown) as cover for building an illiberal state which drowns out independent voices that is wrong.
