Donald Trump is being charged under the Espionage Act and may spend life in prison

Previously indicted for sexual assault, Donald Trump now faces charges of breaking the Espionage Act among other charges including willfully retaining classified documents and refusing to hand them over to the authorities. The indictment against him by the Department of Justice is incredibly damning and scandalous apart from revealing the level of Donald Trump’s insanity.

Trump kept classified documents by the CIA, the National Defense Agency, and the Department of Energy among other agencies in boxes that the authorities found piled up in bathrooms and other rooms at his Mar-a-Lago Club, Palm Beach, Florida. In order to conceal the boxes from his lawyers or the authorities, Trump kept moving them regularly to different rooms even taking them with him as he traveled with his private jet. The willful intent to break the law is incredibly damning. The indictment doesn’t say this but why would he keep such documents if not to sell them to foreign adversaries of the US? The documents included future defense plans related to nuclear weapons.

It’s also incredible that there are still people defending him despite the evidence against him. Trump has consistently used the Presidency to extend his wealth and his family’s interests and he did so by conniving with US adversaries. Trump also has a very long history of doing business with the Russians who helped him win the Presidential election against their most hated foe Hilary Clinton, and this is why until this day Trump still speaks highly of Putin.
