The economic pain will only increase and the beatings will ensue until our country gets a normal government with normal adults who can properly manage the economy and lead the country. So far, we have a criminal organisation in government that pretends to govern.
Aleander Balzan, Robert Abela’s propagandist wrote an O-level essay on economics for Robert Abela that was published in the Times. An O-level student could have done much better, but Robert’s expectations and standards are what they are. Apparently, Robert, the delusional criminal thinks that Malta’s economy is doing well because he has managed the economy exceptionally well, and if it wasn’t for him and his gang of criminals, our economy would have crashed. Apparently, we have to be thankful to Robert for saving us. So, if you are investing in Malta and creating jobs as a result, please thank the Prime Minister and the Labour government for allowing you to be successful. It’s only your responsibility if you lose and fail.
The economy did well because of private investment that mostly comes from foreign sources. Malta is an economy that is heavily dependent on direct foreign investment – it is not dependent on the abilities of Robert Abela, who clearly, has none. Most of the investment that comes to Malta comes due to the very attractive tax regime which has been in place for many years. The truth is much more different from Robert’s delusions. The reality is that Robert Abela, given the fact that he is not the least respected abroad, could not bring to Malta any direct investment with his own contacts (he has none). The criminal village lawyer is unable to raise capital outside Malta so instead he wants to take credit for the successes of local capitalists. What a really sad man, (or man-child). He can only raise capital from Joseph Portelli in exchange for a government permit – B?al Mafju? tal-injoranti.
Aleander, in Robert’s name, makes many gross mistakes and fallacies in his childlike essay. For example, the construction industry is the only industry he mentions giving it as a result excessive importance. He doesn’t mention the manufacturing industry for example, or gaming, which are both more important than the construction industry in terms of their net contribution to the economy. They don’t even know how the economy works but keep insisting on speaking about the construction industry because it’s construction magnates who support the Labour Party with funding. They can’t even step out of the box for a minute. Then there is also the delusion that Labour will bring economic growth by covering up Malta’s green fields with solar panels for the sake of “going green”.
We are in desperate need of the adults in the room.
