Can’t prosecute me if I’m friends with a magistrate

In Malta, suspected criminals who are politicians have a habit of hanging out with magistrates whilst avoiding prosecution.

Here is Labour MP Carmelo Abela with Magistrate Joe Mifsud during the ?ejtun Festa. Carmelo Abela was investigated by the police over the attempted bank robbery of the HSBC building in Qormi.
