Yesterday it dawned on me that Rosianne Cutajar has made important history. I may be wrong on this but I don’t think so, so I appeal to my Labour sources to confirm this with me.
Rosianne Cutajar is the first ever Labour MP to have been expelled from the Labour Party Parliamentary Group. I don’t think there has ever been an expulsion like this before. Tonio Pellegrini in the 1960s crossed the floor if I recall correctly and Lorry Sant, although expelled from the Labour Party in the early 1990s, was not an MP at that time.
Incredible.
