The shame is starting to settle in

It is unusual for Ministers to go to the Euro Group Meeting a day early because the Euro Group meetings are often held in the afternoon so that ministers may attend the meeting and be back home on the same day.

Apparently, the frugal Minister for Finances who drives himself to work every day, Clyde Caruana opted to visit Brussels a day before the Euro Grop meeting. Is it maybe, because he didn’t want to be present in Parliament for the shameful vote against the public inquiry on the death of Jean Paul Sofia?

Shame and remorse often come very late after the act happens. I would suppose that if Clyde had any principles left he would have been ashamed to be in Parliament today, so staying in a hotel room flipping through papers, and doing homework may have been a better option for him. Actually, at the same time, ay 18.00, he was on his flight to Brussels.

  1. If the EU ministers are serious about reducing the carbon footprint, shouldn’t these meetings be held virtually? instead of traveling from all across Europe?

Where is Chris Fearne in all this? He must either have voted with the government or not attended the vote.

I am pointing him out specifically because you have been putting your hopes in him as Labour’s face of decency, and even put him in a list of politicians fighting to improve civil rights.

Turns out he is just another shameful coward.
