The cost of Robert Abela Abela’s trip

By now, everyone has seen this photo, so it is no longer news. The half-man, half-demented child left off for a quick break on his boat. Miskin, g?andu l-istress u g?andu b?onn jistrie?.

There is nothing wrong with being wealthy, but Robert Abela like many of his close friends obtained his wealth from fake government contracts, kickbacks, bribes, and criminal dealings. A socialist rent-seeker par excellence who makes a living off the public coffer.

What’s remarkable is that he also has no sense of self-awareness. I’m too tired now to explain, but most of you know very well what I am talking about and I’m sure you’re also as angry as I am.

Here’s an interesting fact. Robert Abela’s boat has two caterpillar engines consuming 7.7 miles per gallon each and with a 210-mile trip to Sicily, and €4.5 per gallon, Robert Abela’s trip in fuel expenses alone would cost him around €500.

Your point is extreemly valid but your calculations are incorrect. Assuming he is going to Marina di Ragusa it’s a 120 nautical mile trip to get there and back. His Caterpillar C12s consume 170ltrs per hour at 20knots meaning that the round trip would take 6 hours. Assuming that he will be there for the weekend only with berthing fees for eur90 per day his weekend break will cost him eur1290 unless he is ferried back by a friend to attend an important wedding, similar to what happened weeks ago

Unless berthing is complimentary, you know who owns the marina there
