Yesterday, as part of his vexatious and fraudulent attack on the judiciary, Robert Abela compared the magisterial inquiry on Jean-Paul Sofia’s death to that of Miriam Pace’s, apparently because the investigation on Miriam Pace’s death was concluded earlier.
Well, the same investigators and case officers who worked on the investigation of Miriam Pace’s death, are the same investigators who have worked on the magisterial inquiry on Jean-Paul Sofia’s death. Contrary to what Robert Abela is implying, there are no shortfalls in the magisterial inquiry on Jean-Paul Sofia’s death, and investigators have done their job diligently.
The magisterial inquiry has also been concluded and what remains of it are legal procedures that are being extended by the Attorney-General.
