As of this week, the government rushed to issue the new building licensing system as part of its propaganda campaign to reiterate that it is doing “huge and historic” reforms in the construction sector.
Apparently, the licensing system which was launched online this week isn’t even working, contractors are calling customer care and no one is responding and so far many have been unable to download the applications. But sure, let’s rush the scheme into operation so that the Prime Minister can have some talking points for his “historic” press conferences.
