The Deputy Police Commissioner, Ramon Mercieca is still on forced leave as the government tries to secure a post for him in Transport Malta. He was forced to go on leave to keep his resignation subtle as possible, but Angelo Gafa is making things even worse by paying him a salary for staying at home instead of doing the right thing and just sacking him outright. What a total mess of a Force and to think that the current Commissioner was previously the Force’s “CEO”.
