Robert Abela’s inner circle is mainly a real-estate mafia with a clique of politicians and other associates who are accumulating properties illegally through their political activity. This website broke the story of how Roderick Galdes, one of the members of Robert Abela’s inner clique is being investigated by the authorities after he accumulated a multi-million Euro worth real-estate portfolio with an annual salary of around €50,000 per year.
Roderick Galdes is being investigated for his unexplained wealth and one of his connections through which he potentially built his wealth is an Italian businessman called Lorenzo di Pinto who was involved in what appears to be a phantom company called LAM Projects. Lorenzo di Pinto is connected to Roderick’s brother, Malcolm Galdes through other business ventures. LAM Projects has never posted its accounts throughout its history and its shares were shuffled between other Italian businessmen but there is hardly any other information about it.
