An extremely rare breed in the Maltese academic wasteland – a dissident academic

Local academics such as Olvin Vella have welcomed the appointment of a pro-Labour government propagandist as head of The Centre of Maltese Language. Olvin Vella even praised Norma Saliba for her supposed capabilities in an explicit and humiliating show of ingratiation.

Thankfully there is at least someone from academia who has the courage to speak up and take action, and this is Mark Amaira who is taking the government to court for instituting a cultural entity illegally that is led by an incompetent Labour stooge.

Congratulations to Mark Amaira and I hope many more academics will start following his example.
