They are lying about the social benefits scandal

The Minister for Social Policy Michael Falzon is lying when he says that he did not know about the social benefits racket and that he informed the police when he got to know about it. Michael Falzon was very well aware of the racket and the participation of well-known Labour Party canvassers and activists is only because the racket was well-extended and approved by all relevant political authorities.

They also lie about having alerted the police about the racket, because it was, in fact, the other way and as soon as Robert Abela got headwind that the police were investigating Silvio Grixti, he forced him to resign as an MP and awarded him with a consultancy contract to keep him quiet. The only problem with Robert Abela’s plan is that he had overestimated his power and influence over the police force. Although Robert Abela can control and hamper the Police in many ways, he does not necessarily have the power to do this in every case and investigation, and his power to do so may diminish in cases where the police have many witnesses – it makes a case simpler.

Failing that nightly protests in our capital should have been organized. After a week or two, it’s business as usual. It has now become the norm for politicians to be corrupt. Worse still the public at large couldn’t give a monkeys. Years of corrupt practices have desensitized Maltese society.

Dr. Falzon, don’t let any corruption tarnish your reputation , we are waiting !

  3. Netnews ran an interview with another whistleblower claiming a psychiatrist with ties to Labour MPs is defrauding the Maltese tax payer. When are the names of these persons made public? Afterall they are defrauding the public!
