US National Security Advisor of the United States of State Jake Sullivan has met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Malta in an announced bilateral meeting that took around twelve hours (with two sessions of six hours each). Their location choice for the meeting was agreed between them, following which they both made a request to the Maltese government ot hold this meeting.
I am not privy to what was discussed between China and the US in Malta, but I can confirm that Wang Yi will be on his way to Russia soon to meet Sergei Lavrov in Moscow.
