Paying for Lydia Abela’s foreign trips

I hope that the taxpayer is happy funding Lydia Abela’s trips abroad because there’s nothing much we can do about it until we vote them out.

The King of Spain hosted European heads of government and state for dinner at the Alhambra complex in Grenada, prior to the EU Council meeting with Spain presiding. The invites included spouses, but of course, there will always be those who would use discretion and others who would simply take the opportunity to have a free meal at the expense of the King of Spain.

Lydia Abela didn’t miss this opportunity, of course.
