Promoting startups but with Miriam Dalli

Miriam Dalli has produced a propaganda flick with public funds promoting the Startup Festival, only that it doesn’t feature startups – it only features herself and her friend and political campaign manager Kurt Farrugia (he’s actually the head of Malta Enterprise).

The Standards Commissioner has censored ministers for using public funds to promote themselves multiple times, but ministers still do it with impunity.

Also, why is Malta Enterprise under Miriam Dalli’s remit (who is the Minister for Energy)? It would have to do with something related to corruption practices of the past during the Joseph Muscat administration. Silvio Schembri, who is the Minister for Economy, doesn’t seem to be very happy about this. Recently, Silvio Schembri announced a government venture fund that will finance startups that can’t get credit. However, there is nothing yet about Silvio Schembri’s fund other than an announcement.
