Prime Minister Robert Abela offered Jean-Paul Sofia’s mother Isabelle Bonnici, compensation from the government in exchange for her dropping the demand of a public inquiry.

Isabelle Bonnici refused the compensation offer and pushed on with a public inquiry.

Robert Abela and the Labour Party have criminal links with Kurt Buhagiar, one of the contractors being charged with involuntary manslaughter of Jean-Paul Sofia.
