I have only seen this a couple of days ago, and I would like to thank EPP MEP Jeroen Lenaers for his intervention at the European Parliament regarding my case related to publishing the chats between an ex-Labour MP and the suspected mastermind of the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia. The criminal investigation that was started against me at the request of Rosianne Cutajar has been postponed due to an intervening case my lawyers made in the Constitutional Court which is now ongoing. I’m confident I have a very strong case in convincing the courts that the material I published is in the public’s interest. As always, thanks to my impeccable lawyers Joseph Mizzi and David Bonnello.
Also, I strongly support these kinds of interventions in our European Parliament as European institutions serve as a strong protective barrier against local authoritarian governments who are mired in organised crime apart from potentially conducting human rights violations. It is great to see a Europe where common values such as free speech and the rule of law are safeguarded.
