Previous prosecutor and defector to the criminal world, Matthew Xuereb to be arrested over subornation of witness

A previous prosecutor who ended up working for some of Malta’s top criminals he was prosecuting, Matthew Xuereb, is getting arrested over the subornation of witness, Terence Cini for an amount of up to €50,000.

Matthew Xuereb is the nephew of the corrupt and previous Attorney General Peter Grech and was also a close friend to the previous prosecutor and also defector Charles Mercieca.
