Today, I asked a couple of cabinet ministers what they thought about Robert Abela’s Saddam Hussein antics. These are of course questions that the pro-Labour MaltaToday will not ask as it tirelessly tries to defend the Prime Minister.

The response was unanumous.

“Kul?add jitnejjek bieh”.

    It seems that the PM’s gag order to his ministers is afforded the same level of respect that is in turn afforded to him.

    I saw him sitting by himself at one of the outside tables at a bar in Merchants Street, last Saturday, about 5pm. Quite a pathetic figure really.
