Here’s another medical-certificate racket that can be investigated

Ever Since Deputy Police Commissioner Ramon Mercieca was suspended from his duties, his official resignation has been postponed by a combination of an extended sick leave and other leave privileges which he has mostly used in full. Is he going back to work after all his leave privileges have been used up? Note, that Ramon Mercieca had already broken the law by being on sick leave when he attended Rosianne Cutajar’s party. It would be interesting to know how these kinds of privileged and unique kind of arrangements and situations can be justified in a court of law.

Anyone can be right in condemning Silvio Grixti to justice, but it’s rather cowardly to devote most of the police’s energy and resources to the cases of the corruption of the poor, while the by far dangerous specimens are allowed to act with impunity.

  1. While in no way do I wish to condone the illicit social benefit scheme and Dr Grixti’s alleged involvement however this is further proof that the so called Worker’s party is more intent on hounding and dramatising the misdemeanours of small fry, lower rung people, while covering up and exploiting, even inventing loopholes for the rich and the mighty to act with impunity and get away with murder. Typical example is the way the participants of this illicit social benefit scheme have been dragged to court and sentenced. Another case that comes to mind are the meter readers who as soon as Konrad holy Mizzi assumed responsibility of Enemalta were investigated and those found guilty received prison sentences. Meanwhile those business men who participated and benefited from this fraud were not even investigated nor prosecuted. Socialists my arse!

Only the small fry are castigated under this government.
But remember, Dr. Robert Abela and departmental and government company CEOs, that everyone has a vote!
    Time will come !
