News is circulating on Twitter that Javier Milei has been elected President of Argentina with most of the votes having been counted. Milei intends to take Argentina out of its decades-long economic crisis by reducing taxes, reducing government expenditure, and Dollarising the national currency. He also plans to abolish the central bank. Argentina’s inflation rate for this year has risen to three-digit figures.
