Congratulations to Sandra Gauci and ADPD for saving the trees in Bu?ibba

ADPD leader Sandra Gauci has been incredibly active ever since becoming the leader of Malta’s Green party. Apart from meeting with constituents, and stakeholders and campaigning on the streets, she is also very involved in local and community activism by trying to save what’s yet left to destroy on our islands. Lately, she campaigned with BirdLife and other NGOs to save a set of mature trees in Bu?ibba that were home to protected Maltese birds. The campaign was successful marking another victory for the Green Party.

Sandra Gauci will also be contesting in the next MEP elections.

If she ever makes it only to disappoint, then there’s as much hope here as there was on Devil’s Island.

So much rides on you, Sandra.

If only what we see is what we’ll get.

What baffles me is, how can an active party leader contest the MEP election.

There?s nothing to be baffled about! That?s characteristic of leading a small party not a mainstream one. One has necessarily to take on multiple tasks. It?s the quality you should be assessing. Some of the candidates the main parties are putting forward for the MEP elections are nothing short of an embarrassment and can hardly string together a coherent argument.
What should baffle you rather is how a gang of criminals can still be in government in a so called democracy! Enough to give you sleepless nights?
