Ever since Ukraine drowned the Russian warship, the Novocherkassk that was docked in Crimea, Russia has responded by pounding Ukrainian cities such as Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipro, Odesa, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia with hundreds of missiles every day, deliberately targeting civilians. Dozens of civilians have died every day as a result of these attacks.
Most of these missiles and Iranian drones launched by Russia are being successfully intercepted by the Ukrainian forces with anti-aircraft weaponry from Europe and the US, but Ukraine doesn’t have the equivalent offensive firepower. Ukraine also retaliated with an attack on neighbouring Belgorod at the end of the year.
