Lionel Gerada is being forced to resign by the Malta Tourism Authority’s CEO

An official from the Malta Tourism Authority has contacted me today telling me that Lionel Gerada is being forced to resign from his post by the newly-appointed CEO, Carlo Micallef. Lionel Gerada worked for Tumas Group during the same time he worked for the MTA and is known for a series of corrupt distribution of MTA funds to Labour Party donors. He was extensively investigated by The Shift News, and also has a criminal history.

Malta’s ambassador to the United Araba Emirates, Maria Camilleri has been asked to make a reference for Lionel Gerada in his search for a new job in Dubai.
