Restauranteur Ivan ?ammit wants free public real-estate because he made Malta proud as a psychiatrist in London

Firstly, thanks to Arnold Cassolla for bringing this up.

Talk about delusions of grandeur and mental disorders. One of the reasons why Ivan ?ammit wants us to sympathize with him for having expropriated a public space for his cafe/restaurant business for free is because, according to him, “he made Malta proud in London working as a psychiatrist”. He also feels entitled to free real-estate because he picked up dirty syringes years ago as a volunteer. Whatever his reasons may be, they don’t matter because his business model, serving meals to clients rent-free on public property, aligns with government policy. For Robert Abela, the economy is a restaurant.

The sense of entitlement is quite at extreme levels under Labour, but mind you, he is one of the only few who feel shameless and deluded enough to admit his entitlement in public. They’ve literally stolen public spaces from the public and are turning the country into a joke, but Ivan is deluded enough to rationalise it.

Don t generalize siehbi. Do you have specifications for “normal”??? Does it apply to all nations, genders, professions or occupations, relgious beliefs, habitats, etc, etc, etc. This guy is doing what hundreds of other businesses are doing, making money off public land because there is no enforcement to speak of. May i remind you that Robert Abela himself publicly condoned people going to the OPM to get what they would not be legally entitled to. He se just another unscrupulous profiteer.
