The Home Affairs Minister wants more CCTV cameras in one of the most CCTVed areas in the country

First as tragedy, then as farce, as signed by the Honourable Minister himself. Byron Camilleri’s solution for the organised crime and the rampant violence in Paceville by nightclub bouncers is CCTV cameras. Not that there aren’t any CCTV cameras in the area because, on the contrary, the area is one of the most CCTVed areas in the country.

Maybe, running the Ministry of Home Affairs without a Permanent Secretary is not a good idea. Or maybe, the previous Permanent Secretary was right, and the Minister is completely infantile and unable to solve the most basic problems at hand.
