Times will be ever more challenging for independent journalists, so I will be increasingly supportive of my friends and colleagues. Strange things will happen to us as well, and we will be faced with unjust attacks.
Jon Mallia has succeeded in doing a great feat by building his private media company and products and chapeau to him – this is a rare feat in the local economy and the media industry. His platform and business are his alone so there’s no censorship he can be held accountable to and Jon Mallia should not be bullied into publishing anything.
I hope he keeps getting the much-needed support that he needs to keep going. I’m happy to see my friends and other independent journalists and media producers thrive and do better.
