The title is rhetorical, of course. The Data Protection Commissioner is accusing me of having released private data and exceeded my journalistic limits.
Had I wanted to be cruel, and vindictive, I could have released the actual explicit and sexual content exchanged by Yorgen Fenech and Rosianne Cutajar. I did not, because it is not necessary.
Now, that they are accusing me of having released private data, I would have to explain to the court why I didn’t release actual sexually explicit and private content and by doing so, acknowledge that they exist.
You have not read or seen anything remotely close to actual explicit and private content.
Also, maybe this is in the public interest and a serious issue that I have overlooked so far. Yorgen Fenech had in his phone a large number of sexually explicit photos of women he had slept with and these included women who worked for him, women in the Labour Party, and the government. Surely, Yorgen Fenech had some degree of leverage over these women by having their explicit and personal photos all stored in his mobile phone.
