The last person who can speak about sexism is Ramona Attard

First of all, let’s make this clear. Most of the Labour Party’s and its officials’ statements are not genuine discourses. One of the features of a criminal organisation is that it survives by lying and deceiving people. For a criminal organization, lying is a full-time job and this is why the Labour Party spends millions of Euros in public funds to fabricate its own narratives with propaganda helped by criminal operators like Saviour Balzan. You only need a sophisticated and massive propaganda machine if you need to deceive, lie and obfuscate things. You don’t need to spend millions of Euros on propaganda if you are telling the truth.

Bizarrely, Ramona Attard came back to accuse me of sexism after I made some remarks on Labour’s inherent misogynistic practices. I say bizarrely mainly for two reasons. Ramona Attard could have ignored me and refused to promote my interview with Repubblika instead of promoting me further with her Labour Party supporters. Secondly, her comments are bizarre because in fact, she is a good example of Labour’s inherent misogyny, and she knows this well. Maybe, it is not bizarre at all that she would comment if one considers that she is extremely insecure about this subject, so she felt compelled to defend herself without even having mentioned her.

My comments were very clear and they were not sexist. I claimed in yesterday’s interview that the Labour Party deliberately chooses beautiful women for the ballot because it is misogynistic and does not really believe in feminism. I also said that Daphne Caruana Galizia used to write about Labour’s misogyny and I am uncomfortable talking about this subject, because I am not a woman, and hence can easily be accused of sexism in a deceiving way if I discuss this subject.

Clearly, I did not make a sexist remark – but I described the sexist and misogynistic situation in the Labour Party. Someone decent and having good-will would have rebutted me by saying that this is not true. But a corrupt operator like Ramona Attard decided to instead accuse me of sexism – preposterous. Let me remind Ramona Attard that I have been actively supporting and lobbying for the introduction of abortion legislation in the country while her party introduced abortion legislation that is even worse than what we had before. The Labour Party of which she is President even shot down an abortion decriminalisation bill in parliament presented by Marlene Farrugia and refused to even discuss it. Ramona Attard and her friends were also silent about the misogynistic anti-abortion opposition of Maltese doctors. Not to mention that femicides and domestic violence are on the rise under “the most feminist government in history”.

Now, to make things absolutely and factually clear, Ramona Attard is the last person who could ever speak of sexism. She is a prime example of a woman in the Labour Party who got to where she is thanks to her looks and by having various relationships and affairs with top Labour Party officials. For the sake of appearing as someone who “respects privacy” I will withhold the names of her past Labour lovers but, these individuals (and their past relationships with Ramona Attard) are well-known in Labour circles.

Ramona Attard has never worked a proper job in her life, she failed her legal exams multiple times consecutively and has no particular skill that makes her unique in any way. Her intelligence can be metaphorised as the equivalent of a turnip. She is the prime example of sexism in the Labour Party for getting where she is through her looks and relationships and not through merit, hard work and intelligence. She is also corrupt and has used her position in politics and the Party to extend her personal opportunities.

Coming from someone who part of the home affairs ministry and took part in a press conference convincing us that the shots from a minister car where pointed in the sky, in a tunnel, while the victim’s car had bullets at its backand was at the police headquarters possession ! Now she’s the president of the party in government. That’s the level of the standards. Come on, bring back Josianne, Cris, Justine, Mizzi and Cyrus…..well wait, he’s already there !

  4. I did not hear any protest or condemnation from Ramona when the Manoel theatre’s CEO Massimo Zammit was charged and found guilty of sexual harrasment. Both Sigmund Mifsud and Minister Owen Bonnici were aware of what was going on but for over 3 years the victim received no support whatsoever. She was eventually forced to resign. Where was the Labour feminist movement and Ramona then?
