Nigerian Islamic militants continue to kill Christians over the weekend

Nigerian Islamic Fulani militants have continued their attacks over the weekend murdering Christians in various states in south-western and south-eastern states of Nigeria. Last week, Islamic militants kidnapped 12 schoolchildren from a school bus in the state of Ekiti. Violence against Christians escalated last year with up to 200 Christians killed during the Christmas holidays. Some reports state that up to 52,000 Christians have been killed in Nigeria since 2009 by Islamic groups.
