Police Commissioner Angelo Gafa took a free holiday to the Corinthia Hotel in London as the Home Affairs Minister met his counterpart in the UK

Police Commissioner Angelo Gafa was in London this week in a delegation with Home Affairs Minister Byron Camilleri who met his counterpart in the UK, James Cleverly. Gafa stayed at the Corinthia Hotel during his visit along with the delegation. According to the Minister, Byron Camilleri, they discussed organised crime and illegal immigration.

This visit was made during a transition still ongoing of a new Permanent Secretary in the Ministry for Home Affairs and a blatant rule of law crisis affecting society and politics on many levels. Byron Camilleri’s recent response to the recent brutalisation of a black student in Paceville by the gangsters running the town was to announce more CCTV cameras, while Angelo Gafa sent his young recruits to check their work permits.

Their visit to London also coincided with Joseph Muscat’s presence in London who also usually and regularly stays at the Corinthia Hotel when he is in London.

Journalists should be asking whether Byron Camilleri and Angelo Gafa “bumped” into Josep Muscat at the Corinthia Hotel while in London.
