Pashinyan tries to salvage the Minsk Agreements at the OSCE Munich Security Conference

Yesterday, following Aliyev’s call to disengage from the Minks Agreements, the Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reiterated in a meeting with Malta’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, that the Minks Agreements should be preserved. Pashinyan also wants European powers to keep engaging in mediation and talks with Azerbaijan to avoid conflict and war as best possible. Malta is currently chairing the OSCE.

Pashinyan has also just concluded a meeting with Scholz and Aliyev and Pashinyan doesn’t seem to be very happy about it. Details about the meting will be released soon.
