Police Commissioner Angelo Gafa is proposing Inspector Rennie Stivala, Head of the Economic Crimes Unit, to replace Sandro Camilleri as Head of the Financial Crimes Unit. Rennie Stivala has so far not accepted the position because it is being considered a police chalice. The head of the FCID will be responsible for various cases that are linked to politicians including that of Christian Borg (linked with Robert Abela).
