Recently, Labour Party propagandist Sandro Mangion posted a very twisted message on his Faebook account. He posted a photo of Dom Mintoff during his latest years in parliament with a caption saying something of the sort “Those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it”.
His message was an allusion to Alfred Sant’s conflict with Dom Mintoff which led to the collapse of his government.
The mere thought that the current situation is comparable to that of Alfred Sant and Dom Mintoff’s is absurd and twisted. It conveys an articulate yet warped message of amorality and tolerance for criminality.
They have gone out of their minds and only a crushing defeat in the elections would bring them to their senses. We have the responsibility to make this happen.
