The French Ministry of Defense has denied Moscow’s claims that France is about to send 2,000 troops in Ukraine, but French Army Chief of staff Pierre Schill has claimed that the French Army is battle-ready and that they could rapidly deploy in Ukraine if needed.
Moscow threatened to target French troops in Ukraine in case they are deployed, a threat to which the French Army replied sternly. French President Emmanuel Macron is considering sending French troops to Ukraine in various scenarios, including the scenario in which the Russian army breaks through the current lines of combat.
