Rosianne Cutajar’s dilemma is very simple. After having surrendered a libel case which she had started, she is being forced to apologise by the Labour Party as a condition to join it back within its ranks. She can’t apologise because if so, she would be admitting of crimes of a serious order. Instead, she will cower in silence as the coward that she is.
Robert Abela needs an exit strategy from his own Devil’s Pact. The best he can do is pretend to welcome back Rosianne Cutajar and Joseph Muscat in the fold to keep up appearances with Labour Party supporters, while privately telling Rosianne Cutajar and Joseph Muscast that they won’t be contesting again with the Labour Party.
