“To a certain extent Joseph Muscat carried collective responsibility over Daphne’s murder” – President Myriam Spiteri Debono

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Listen to the newly elected President Myriam Spiteri Debono (16.17) apologising for Joeph Muscat saying that “To a certain extent, Joseph Muscat carried collective responsability over Daphne’s murder” inferring to his resignation as Prime Minister in 2020.

This can’t be further from the truth. Joseph Muscat hasn’t carried any responsability, for anything, yet. Joseph Muscat was forced to resign from the government following massive national protests on a daily basis and a rebellion within the cabinet and the Labour Party. Throughout this time, Joseph Muscat tried to resist the national rebellion against him in various ways including by attempting to organise a mass meeting in Fgura which was then blocked from happening by Labour Party officials.

Joseph Muscat has no regrets and has carried no responsability whatsoever. He will only begin to bear his responsibility when he sets foot in Kordin.
