Roberta Metsola and Emmanuel Macron renew the European Parliament’s presence in Strasbourg

I’m mostly uploading this piece for the flattering photos of French President Emmanuel Macron with European Parliament President Roberta Metsola. I suppose that in another universe they would have made a great couple. They met in Strasbourg to renew the presence of the European Parliament there which supposedly projects the symbolism of European unity, but in reality is just an extravagant expense and an unnecessary logistical headache.
