The US military is building a pier off Gaza’s shore

The US military has begun building a pier off the coast of Gaza as ordered by President Biden last month. The pier, which is being built to offload humanitarian aid to Gaza, is also intended to be developed into a permanent harbour later on. Originally, the need for the harbour came as Israel blocked humanitarian aid to Gaza.
