Two individuals in the Labour Party who made the right decision, contrary to most of us who back then weren’t seeing the writing on the wall, were Health Minister Godfrey Farrugia and his backbench MP partner Marlene Farrugia. When the government was trying to save the Vitals fraud by transferring it to Steward Healthcare, Gdofrey Farrugia resigned as Health Minister. Both Marlene and Godfrey Farrugia resigned from the Labour Party’s parliamentary group.
