Where’s the money Mr Christopher Spiteri Persecuted Auditor?

The Maltese government disbursed up to €400 million for the fraudulent and corrupt Vitals and Steward deals. Despite this significant capital sum, the National Auditor discovered that Vitals and Steward failed to deliver many of their contractual obligations with the Maltese government.

You can read a long list of failures and omissions of services by Steward especially with regard to the Gozo Hospital, Saint Luke’s Hospital and Karen Grech Hospital in the National Auditor’s report from page 277. By law, an auditor is not simply an accountant who checks that the numbers add up. He has to verify and provide his signature to confirm that what he actually is signing for is actually factual and material. That’s why it is called auditing.

It is interesting to note, that despite the fact that Steward failed to deliver on its commitments, it consistently spent more than the Maltese’s government’s disbursement, making a consistent loss every year. You can see Steward Malta’s financials here.

The above reminds me of a resemblance to a movie actor impersonating Black in the ‘The Jackal’

Love when Bruce Willis smiles after Black tries to extort 100k from him. Like he?s thinking; ?Now I?m getting this for free.?
