I don’t want to resign because I have the power

Might is right for the fraudster and Central Bank Governor Edward Scicluna. Today, on the steps of the Law Courts he reiterated his position that he doesn’t want to resign because according to him, he has the power to stay on.

This fraud has no consideration or care for anything or anyone other than himself. He spent his time during the government apologising and defending Joseph Muscat’s corruption, and now that he is in trouble for it, he pretends and thinks he did nothing wrong. He has no qualms about dragging the reputation of our country, the banking sector and the financial services for the sake of a monthly salary, that is actually not really that significant. He reminds me of delusional junkies begging for scraps.

I hope he gets the maximum sentence and gets to live the rest of his life in prison. What a truly, miserable piece of shit.

He’s also wrong about his appointment. He was appointed Central Bank Governor by the Cabinet and can just as well be recalled back if he is being charged with financial crimes according to current financial regulations.

Lets just for one moment imagine a scenario where we all believe Edward Scicluna is completely innocent and this is backed by solid evidence. Even then, even if he did absolutely no wrong, the fact that he is charged is enough reason for him to resign.
