There is still, and yet, nothing on the DOI website or the Labour Party’s social media pages on the 7th June Riots National Holiday. There’s only a speech by the Speaker of Parliament, An?lu Farrugia. Prime Minister Robert Abela didn’t give a speech during the event, but instead took a photo with a group of school children and published it with a caption “remembering the day when the Maltese fought to take the power in their hands” alluding to the current Labour Party’s campaign slogan “the power is in your hands”.
Even important and national festivities are now reduced into cheap political stunts. Robert Abela can’t take a break from being an imbecile and for once act in a proper and stately manner.
