At this point, with the Prime Minister and the Labour Party leader in crisis, anything is possible in terms of politics, but Joseph Muscat is not getting back in control of the Labour Party, simply because there are too many who are those against him in numbers. He may win again in terms if a vote is cast by the members, but the Labour Party is now in a position neither to care about this scenario and would undoubtedly be rallying back with Robert Abela against him. Ultimately, even if Robert Abela is weak, only those who are against him can come to his aide, but they wouldn’t do it for his sake – most of them understand that Joseph Muscat’s faction is a skiving criminal organisation that shouldn’t be allowed to be associated with the Labour Party.
Of course, this mess is Robert Abela’s own fault. His own Devil’s Pact. First he removed Joseph Muscat’s worst adversaries from the Labour Party, and now, as he’s crashing down with him after conducting a dictatorial campaign against the Courts and the Justice System with “Establishment” and whatnot, he’s inevitably in a crisis. Insane. I can’t even imagine what was going on in his mind (rhetorically speaking). In actual fact, I can, and the simplest answer is always the best answer. He’s just fucking stupid.
