Malta has had its first national blackout with many localities going without electricity. Summer hasn’t even started, and heatwaves are still weeks ahead.
Don’t discuss about these issues because Miriam Dalli is feeling persecuted.

Just do not expect any improvements. Unfortuantely Labour besides having a bloated cabinet of arrogant dysfunctional ministers and junior ministers who are surrounded by incompetent persons of trust. They have also appointed Nazzi to strategic posts both in the civil service and state entities. One such entity is Enemalta. Apart from their incompetence, and corruption these Nazzis are not going to lose any sleep when things go south. Of course nobody cries sabotage or foul play anymore. The stronger the Nazzis grow and the weaker MLP gets these cases of inefficiences which have dire consequences on the common citizen and the nation as a whole will become more frequent and blatant.
Its hilarious seeing the Labour trolls on Labour Today’s comments defending the power cuts and saying that these things are normal and happened under the PN. I am not trying to be biased but seriously, power cuts since 2013 have become more frequent and last summer’s nationwide outage, in some places lasting more than 3 days straight were unprecedented.
Its proof that many are either paid trolls or else so really worried about the inevitable which is Labour losing more votes and faster.
And I say that they are probably paid trolls because I never defended power cuts or the government when PN was in government. I would always write against the minister.
I have lived in Japan for 15 years I have lived in the UK I have been all around the world and Rome 60 times. And never in my life have I ever experienced anything like this with constant blackouts what a joke of a country. I do not know why people still vote for this government it’s beyond me it’s beyond belief if I were not living on this island I would say, let the blackouts continue but sadly I find myself on this dump of an island.
The only thing Malta is good at is eating drinking and listening to loud music. Speaking of loud music, valletta’s residence complained and moaned for many years about loud music tables and chairs taking up too much public space, and so on, BLA BLA BLA, and guess what folks,they voted for labour again for the local council. It’s absolutely shocking what kind of people are these uneducated, stupid brainwashed because it’s amazing it baffles the mind.
And then you’ll hear a minister saying that Malta wants to be a destination of excellence are they serious or what, walk around Valletta at 1 am, and all you see is huge cockroaches running around, overflowing bins. Now, do you think a rich sophisticated tourist would like to come to this dump , I very much doubt it. I am old enough I have heard it all, seen it all being half Maltese myself I know the Maltese mentality is like, full of smiles yes friendly, they try to be something they are not and that is hard working determinated and loyal people. As I mentioned I lived in Japan for 15 years what a completely different country, the mentality of the people, everywhere is spotless and clean excellent customer service zero blackouts unless there is a huge earthquake of course, but here the temperature goes up the lights go out, it rains a little and the streets flood.
Malta is also good at PR false advertising promising so many things and not delivering on many things.I remember a few years ago , I saw a beautiful picture of a Maltese retro bus being advertised, fast forward three or four years and nothing happened I haven’t seen one on the roads.
I remember talking to a lady at the mall gardens in floriana she said she was going to cover the whole area with beautiful plants, this was three years ago and still nothing.
I could go on for hours talking of empty promises false advertising but who is going to listen to what I have to say . I tried to help a both parties and both of them gave me the runaround, they don’t want people who really can help who can make a difference they want people who speak the same language, who lie and are corrupt as hell. Walk around floriana walk around Valletta it’s filthy it’s dirty. buses cars motorcycles constantly crashing people being hit by cars children also the elderly what is this I ask ! I said I’ve been to Rome 60 times and not once did I see a car accident or some crazy driver driving down the street with white disgusting smoke pouring out the back of the car only in Malta can you see this. Leave a window open during winter and your house will be covered in mosquitoes or should I say,infested with mosquitoes leave some food on the kitchen countertop and soon you’ll be seeing huge cockroaches running around. I am also tired of listening to figures and numbers like, Malta international airport has seen an incredible increase of 16% of tourists this month and in tourism , and yet, there is only one toilet at the departure lounge, people waiting with long cues to go to the bathroom , now I know they’re trying to expand the airport but how long is this gonna take another year another two perhaps, or more delays and excuses. Even the so-called special x-ray machines they were supposed to take into effect months ago but now they are saying maybe in November , everything is delayed everything is slow. I truly do not understand how the minister of energy can wake up in the morning and walk around in public I mean , I would be ashamed I would be embarrassed what excuses will she say next ? going
maintenance, the wire over heated to a point where it had to shut off automatically .And when is the second cable from Sicily going to be connected I wonder ? Now let’s not forget how bad it is for the air conditioning unit to suddenly switch off suddenly so we’re talking about appliances being damaged of course ,who’s going to pay for this when it does happen? And all you keep reading is, new block of apartments,new hotels, that’s all Malta needs ,more construction dust and pollution. I think I better stop ranting on. The End.
