Rumours that Chris Fearne is going to Brussels as Malta’s nominee for the European Commission are false. Chris Fearne is still facing charges in Court and will not be making any political moves until he is absolved of all charges.
Robert Abela and his team are encouraging him to go to Brussels because Robert Abela fears he has lost his majority in the Parliamentary Group and Chris Fearne is his likeliest alternative.

You speak of Fearne as if he is the second coming of Christ. He was involved in the mess that is vitals. He was part of muscat?s cabinet and he was at best complacent, at worst complicit with every decision taken.
He also played a key role in governments campaign to muddy the waters after Daphne?s assassination.
He is not fit to lead labour in what is an uphill path to redemption.

It’s all organized PR to try to rebrand Fearne as clean, which in fact is far from reality. Just like Evarist Bartolo, he voted for every single vote of confidence for the criminals, he voted for the Vitalis deals, he contributed towards the hate of Daphne Caruana Galizia, his deeds are full of nepotism including his favourite assistant/advisor Carmen Ciantar who got a very lucrative contract by Fearne.
The list goes on and on, and no organized PR will take away his skeletons and deliberate evil passive or active contributions towards the mess that Malta is in right now. He is part of the problem.
