Nothing new from NATO Summit so far

Nothing new has come out of the NATO Summit currently being held in Washington following President Joe Biden’s opening speech. During his speech, Biden has announced the delivery of four Patriot missiles to Ukraine by the United States, Romania, Germany and The Netherlands and an additional Italian-French SAMP/T air-defense system by Italy.

The announcement comes following a Russian cruise-missile strike against a children’s hospital in Ukraine. Despite the air-defense donations, Ukraine is not being allowed to strike at targets in Russian territory, effectively disallowing it from preempting such attacks in the first-place.

Later today, NATO’s Foreign Affairs Ministers will hold their meeting, and Malta will also be present.

Note, Biden’s funny slip at 10:40.
